What the hell happened?
I played the game yesterday for the last time. It worked great, even though I play through Steam Play because I'm on Linux platform. Other than to have to alt-tab a few times when starting the game up it worked like a charm. Aside from some known bugs.

I was getting full 60 fps up til now. Nothing changed on my end, but today when I logged in I noticed the background animations werent as fluid as they were suppose to be. Kinda jittery. I was hooked up to the Frankfurt server in EU (I live in EU) and noticed that I got only 9 fps and a latency of about 150 ms.

Now the latency I could live with, that wasn't the real issue. It was the fps. When I finally logged into the game, it looked all blurry and out of shape (see screenshot link below). Like being drunk and seeing everything through a haze. And still those poor fps issues.

I tried other games to see if it could be on my end, but nope, they all worked flawlessly and great. So, I knew it's not on my end. Did a hotfix or patch might have caused this? I thought the last update was like a week (or maybe 2) ago? I just don't understand the sudden change and drop in fps. Maybe a hotfix that I somehow missed? Anyone else have same experiences with this?

That's odd. It almost looks like how the screen blurs when you go to the settings menu...wonder if it's a bug. tried restarting and all that stuff?

Well, it seems to be a Proton related issue I've found out. Proton updated from version 4.11-10 to 4.11-11. I tested it with Proton version 4.2-9 and that seems to work. Graphics are a bit fuzzy, but very playable. I hope they'll fix this in the next Proton update.
