Reset of broken characters

Some players have reported that their characters have been reseted to lvl 0 when playing co-op. This is our highest priority bug to fix at the moment.

Here are some steps to get your old save back while we're working on solving this problem:

***Please note that if you use the restore save functionality your saves will be returned to how they were before we implemented profile support. This means that you will lose progress on new profiles. We are looking into if we can change how the restore save work, will keep you posted if we can change it to only affect the broken profile***

1. Right click on the Krater in Steam and select properties

2. Select the tab General and click on "Set launch options"

3. Enter: reset_save

4. Start the game, a button appears at the bottom left of the main menu

5. Click on it and accept.

You should now have your old save back!

This happened to one of my characters, but it wasn't even the character I brought into the co op mission. At least, I THINK that's when it happened. My medikus wasn't in the party, and at some point I noticed his level had been set to zero, is all I can say for sure. I've played quite a bit since then, so will restoring a save do anything favorable at all?
