Is this game worth buying?
Metacritic gave low score. I checked another reviews on internet and they gave also another low score, due to game breaking bugs and stupid multiplayer function.

The little I have played I loved... but... I had to stop playing due to

Unfortunately, until this is fixed I can't really play, but if you don't have an nvidia card I recommend it from the small amount i've played (hard to say seeing as it was a first impressions)

I bought today from greenmangaming and played around 90-100 minutes atm of course im at beginning ,looks good for now .You are managing a 3 men party and can recruit other mercanaries from npc vendor and install implants to modify stats , music is good and story looked nice at introducing and first loading screen (actually story gaveimpression/ idea to me developers really thought/cared on game story ) and had some nice jokes .

You can see answers to similiar question and always can try demo before buying . Im afraid people having problem with nvidia cards atm but i have ATI card

I got good info while i reading these and developers made actually good ingame how to play clips actually shows you things .Load game press '' ESC '' button click to how to play and watch .

Im also impressed with develepor involment on this steam forum ,they are not hiding when people report problem/bugs like some other companies.

Oh yeah, I didn't notice there were developer responses.

I'm NVIDIA user too so I'll most likely get hit. Ugh dilemma. I'll just toss a coin and decide then.

Ya, it happened to me, i was curious then i saw a couple of videos where they only grinded through rats and bears. Does it get better later on?

You'll get to fight quite a few more interesting enemies and bosses in your journey through Krater :)

I would say....yes, it's worth checking out.

It's a bit rough around the edges, but it's strangely addictive. Has a unique squad and skill menagement, great soundtrack and really nice art style, animations and visuals (I especially like the weapon design: road signs, squirt guns, car engins tied to a pole, bear's head on a stick!!! couple of gardening tools and axes tied together, and other quirky makeshift weapons)

The combat can get repetative fast, but for me personally, the most fun part of it is the team menagement and overall charm and sense of humour. Tweaking your skills and stats and trying out different merc combinations is really interesting. Don't expect bladur's gate level of depth though.

I read somewhere: "it's the best post-apocalyptic game set in Sweden"'s true. :)

It probably is worth buying it now because its kinda cheap and then hope they fix it sooner rather than later :P

There is a demo available here at Steam if you wanna try it out for yourself. WIth the hope that you will enjoy it!

Well, it's a rarity to see a developer responding to forum threads. Most of them if not *all* don't give a damn about their community. I guess there's a sense buying a game with a developer like you.

I'm getting the demo now then. I'll just grab one from GMG if it suits me.

Hmm, I think demos from rpgs are a little bit problematic for me. Sadly most rpg-demos are like "kill 10 wolves and bring the fur to xy". Also very good rpgs start this way (like Witcher 1 with these green dogs). Judgeing from the demo only, I would pass it...

But I am impressed by the presence of the developers.
On the other hand, I have heard there should be real 1 to 1 co-op, but there isnt one (and some waited since july!).

There was never a promise of real 1-1 coop, at least from what i remember the devs promised coop play on specifically designed levels. However if you want it just for the coop play, then atm it isn't worth it.
Though afaik they are trying to make the full campaign work as coop, but they haven't made any real promises other than they are seeing if they can make it work.

However as singleplayer game I would recommend trying the demo and see if the playstyle and humour is for you, if it is, well then the choice is easy

ok, sry maybe I got something wrong, Im sorry!
wiredhands Jan 16, 2013 @ 5:43am
no need to apologise ;-)

I only read in an earlier post from a dev that they were trying to make the campaign work as coop, but that there were plenty of issues that they had to handle to make it work, so they weren't sure it would ever happen, so he wouldn't make any promises about it, other than they were trying to make it work.

This game isn't bad. I took pleasure to play it in solo mode. I got it when nice promotion on Steam. With co-op, it will become epic.

One thing annoy me a lot : that stupid limitation from mercs to 5/5 10/10 & 15/15. This stupid concept ruin RPG aspect of the game. When you're full xp (at 5/5 or 10/10 or 15/15), pleasure to play is ruined for me. Grinding 5000000 hours to promote mercs is only a waste of time. You get more xp from game than Kr (Money) to pay all you need.

For that reason i'll never buy such game more than -75% off when promotion.
