Could also be steam that have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things up in the patch area...have happened a couple of times with Krater so we redownloaded a patch that was already deployed previously
Though I don't know any of the above for certain I'm just making a couple of guesses
Though I do find it funny..since very very long ago a patch update read something like this...new patch deployment system to ensure smaller patches ;) oh the irony ;)
An alternative would be to use unbundled content which would reduce the patch sizes substantially. But that would on the other hand dramatically increase level load times.
Please let us know of any issues you find, we've been hard at work testing co-op today and have identified a few issues, we're hoping to have these patched as soon as possible - but if you can help us locate issues, that would be great.
Feel free to contact me directly or post a thread either here or at: http://forums.fatshark.se/forumdisplay.php?fid=59
Thanks for your understanding.
On another note, are there any plans to implement co-op into the main story? In my personal opinion it doesn't matter if the story itself is made for single player - the joining player (my friend) could just "be there", not being able to take new missions or whatnot. As long as he's in the town and "dungeons" with me, we're good with it.
Kind of like Fable 3, the joining player can't really do much except take care of his own character. That would be awesome for Krater!
TimeBomb: I'm not sure about that process. Will have to have a word with the guys responsible for our tech and see. We obviously want to keep patch sizes to a minimum and will do all we can to ensure our patching process is as effective as possible.
