I've got an issue, I think, towards the end of the game. I closed the window in the tower and go to the black sea thing and yadda yadda Niko is in the bed and now I get the desktop background telling me to look for a Black Clover in Documents/My Games/Oneshot but.. there's no such folder in My Games, I've checked with the game launched and closed, looked around in other users Documents folders, combed my entire PC, I am kind of confused if this is a bug or I am missing a piece of the puzzle...

I have encountered what I believe is the windows 7 bug, wherein I am unable to progress as the game simply closes silently. :/

I'm... not sure what happened here. Endgame spoilers and beyond, do not read if you haven't at least beaten the game: I finished the game allowing Niko to leave, then restarted my save. I got to the safe that requires the 6 digit code and got the gas mask, then went up to go to the next area while reading the new stuff in the text file. Then this happened:

First it just stayed black with that yellow line, not accepting any inputs. I minimized it to post that to imgur, then when I brought it up again it turned into how it looks in the second pic, still not accepting inputs. Now the game won't close at all through the red X, and I'm not sure if I should just end the process through Task Manager. If it helps, I'm on Windows 8.1 Pro.

Okay, so I ended the process with Task Manager, and it seems you only lose your progress up to the start of the new save. I did the same thing again, but this time the game just closed. Is there any way to progress past that point without triggering this?

edit: Found a workaround by just going the other way, through the shrimp swamp instead.

I froze the game early on by opening a menu while inbetween screens.

not sure if this is a bug, but at the end of the game when you get to the dark room the clover file is supposed to be located in my documents/my games/Oneshot right? didn't find anything there, not even the folder, but I did find the file in the steam directory of the game and launched it from there, but that had no effect, I created a folder named Oneshot in My Games and copied the file there and launched it, still no effect.

I had an issue where the game would flicker when set to Full Screen on Windows 10. Turned out there are two ways to fix this;

I fixed it by turning down this option to 100%, seems like OneShot doesn't like desktop scaling;

The other fix is simply to have your screen resolution to native.

I managed to beat the game on my laptop earlier but things got really weird. (Windows 10 64-bit) For one, the background of the game did not change (was told by someone else this occured) to a note when the entity tricks both the player and Niko into going into the bed at that dark area. Because of this, I had no idea what to do til I messed around with the files and opened up the clover.exe. I dunno how this occurs, but both my laptop and my PC are connected to a Microsoft account where changing the background for my PC would affect my laptop. (never tried it the other way around).

EDIT: Turns out the game wasn't updated on my laptop despite playing it hours after the patch. Fixed!

Had a friend whose game crashed on startup immediately, after a successful launch, the game refused to launch any further, gameplay was never started.

I'm using Windows 10 and I'm having a similar (though less drastic) issue. My game lags/tears when Niko walks up or down but is fine when he moves left and right.

Same problem here... I just unlocked the door with the light bulb to exit the first area and I can't even walk around, it's super choppy. Any idea what causes this? I'm on Windows 7.
