[Linux] The character runs without stopping.
SO: Linux mint 18.2 Sonya
Desk Cinnamon
Kernel 4.10.0-26
Processor Ryzen 1400
Graphic card Gtx 1050 ti
16gb ram 2400 mhz

When I have been playing for a while, the character starts to run alone towards a direction without being able to stop, I can not attack, nor play a song, nor open chests, instead I can use the invoking crystal to heal me.

It is as if the character's forward key entered a cycle.

When I get into the menu it would be normal to go crazy, but no, only the movement of the character goes into a cycle.

If you use the arc directly the control fails entering the cycle described above and the position of the character on the map for some reason vibrates.

Sometimes the kinematics of the conversations are also caught.

Invocations also tend to get caught, for example the archer does not fire if the enemies do not hit her a couple of times.

Same Problem

silimar issue.

Issue is the same on the topic I made here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/41900/discussions/0/1480982338949585372/

havn't heard back from any dev... I hope they fix it. They fixed a few other things with the update, just broke it in another way unfortunatly.

Same issue: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

I've been having the same issue. The game runs smoothly at full capacity, but this bug is a game killer (literally, since you can't attack, only run around). Getting off the game and back into the menu and then loading, solves the problem, and using the mouse to move and attack is the only way to almost avoid it, but if you move while summoning, you may get it. :(

Sadly looks like this bug is never getting fixed. Had a reply the other day to my bug report on their internal bug tracker. They said:

"Closing out the ticket but wanted to thank you for this as it helped us identify some issues at that time. Happy holidays!"

It's polite... but doesn't make a lot of sense because: 1)The bug isn't fixed and 2)I'm not sure what in my bug report helped them fix something.. unless they did fix it but they forget to upload it?

I just installed the game on Linux a day or two ago and have the same issues. Happens quite a lot and it's utterly annoying, to the point where I want to give up playing.
If you're starting from a new game, there comes a point early on where you can't progess at all anyway due to a bug using the bow.

Do you mean the "boss" after the treestump-throwing guys? If so, I've given up for now, assuming that I might somehow be able to beat him later, with the help of one of the comrades (who uses a bow as well). Not sure if that will work though.

Problem is you often get your spells stuck and then you just get the running problem again and can't do anything. If you don't care about achievements and don't mind some other bugs then you can "downgrade" to the previous build.

That would depend on the kind of bugs...

From memory the main bug was a graphic issue where part of the screen would go one colour and everything suddenly went slow until you left the map segment. That was the only major bug I had when I played years ago on Linux.

No, when I played, the moment I got the bow from the farmer and was asked to clear the crows away, I couldn't equip the bow without the controls totally locking up. Reloading the save didn't work because the check point was before picking up the bow. It seems you've gotten further than that, so you may not have had that issue.

Actually I think I wasn't able to properly use the bow either. But I could summon a female companion who uses a bow, and thus she killed the crows for me.

I'm having the same problem. Fairly quickly I either stop moving, attacking or constantly run and summons stop mid way. Loading a save fixes the problem for 1-5 mins. This is extremely buggy and unplayable. Ubuntu 17.10.
