WARNING THIS GAME EATS RAM
holy crap this game is eating 10 gb of ram for me... AND ITS STILL RISING... STOP THIS MONSTER!!!!!!!!

Update: The memory leak is definitely game related, I have no other games that use such an insane amount of ram, especially how it keeps rising in usage. The leak stops once the game is closed. This is most likely a game problem. Either way, my frame rate does not go below 60, so either way it's not too much of a big deal for me since I have 32GB of RAM. This is just to warn those who want to buy that have less than 12 GB of RAM. In my opinion, this is caused by the game not properly unloading shadows. As the game unloads area's of the map often. I am also not talking about VRAM. I am only talking about normal RAM.

Ive noticed some performance choppiness when it was smooth before, then goes good again. Ive also had a few pauses/freezes and then disappears. Something strange is going on with performance. Is this a memory leak? I have 16gb btw

Memory leaks. Allocated memory is not properly released once it's no longer used. A plague of poorly programmed software.

you know what? It is good when a game "eats" ram. That is the job of your ram

Shadow quality and shadow cache are causing a memory leak in the game.
set shadow quality to high not veryhigh, and turn off shadow cache

Denuvo feeds on your RAM. Leave it to Capcpom to implement it horribly.

That's not down to the game. That sounds 100% like a memory leak.

which would be the fault of the game.

1gb vram. That must be a pretty low end graphics card. You need an upgrade. Even 2gb is too low for this game at higher settings. 4gb minimum id say.
