Anyone else got weird stuttering between areas?

Game runs at a really nice constant 60fps, especially in the starting area, but it all starts going downhill when I walk into new rooms/areas, I get SERIOUS stuttering before it goes back up to 60fps again. Memory leaks or what? 8gb RAM GTX 1060 3GB i5 4690k

Same here. It runs smooth on ultra at 60 fps but I get some MEAN stutters, it's really getting annoying, to the point that I can't even enjoy the game.

Same here, have it set to Geforce Experience's optimal settings for my computer (for the most part maxed).

Update, turning off Ambient Occlusion fixed it for me.

Hi guys, didn't completely fix everything but turning off Shadow Cache REALLY helped. Still get a couple stutters between every few rooms and turning around fast lol, but other than that it is significantly improved. Try it out

Yup, I thought this game was optimized. 60 FPS all the way not until that dining scene.

The game uses about 6000-7000 mb ram. And whenever I enter a new area, the ram drops with a bit of stutter. I think it's the optimization problem.

Nevermind it just got worse, and yeah it started after the dining scene for me too.

I meant, the ram display on my afterburner, not the game itself.

I was getting this issue in the Demo. After I switched the Shadows Quality from Very High to High, it stopped. It doesn't seem to work in the full version though =/

we all have the same problem at the same place with any graphic config. i update my driver on the morning (378.49) and stutter still again. just wait for a patch :(
