Complaint: 21 game mode is rigged.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious the game cheats. It needs to be reprogrammed.

I've seen the game get 21, 3 times in a row so far. The chances of that are literally, astronomical. I've seen the game throw down like 5 Trump cards at once at the start of the round. And Lucas always throws down a destroy card when you throw down a double bet card. This is supposed to be blackjack, not some cheat mechanic designed to force you to lose. 100% convinced there is cheat programming in the game mode.

I can understand Lucas cheating as a part of the story line, like how he throws in that perfect hand Trump card and you gotta counteract it, but when you're playing against regular survivors, there shouldn't be cheats programmed in. They shouldn't get special or more cards just to beat you without a chance. Not to mention that opponents always seem to have an extra 'reduce bet by 1' card in their hands everytime they're about to lose. And half the time I get 21, there's a draw.

It seems the only chance in this game, is the chance of not being cheated by bad programming. At least an even playing field has to exist in a card game when you're facing other survivors.

This needs to be addressed pronto. I'm sure someone in the development department thought it would be a funny joke, but people don't pay money for this crap.

I agree, every time the round started the other player used two trump cards that increases my bet by one each. And if he is losing he suddenly has 2 or 3 reduce bet trump cards to use. I understand they think we need a challenge but jesus at least use RNG.

There can be a few reasons for this:
- Each Survivor has traits or something that give him more chance to defend himself with trump cards or more aggressive with trump cards.
- RNG is really messed up, favoring the opponent rather than you.
- Game is rigged to last longer or "You're meant to lose this hand, use all the trump cards you want, I have more to use to stop you."
- "You've won too many games so far, here's a barrage of trump cards that work in my favor consistently."

I had 21, I used 2 raise bets by 2 on the other guy, suddenly he has plenty of defense cards. I knew I couldn't have been the only one seeing this.

Every time that I make sure he is over 21, he always throws down a "Go For 24" card, and he always gets 24.

Yes, some guys have infinite trump cards for no reason.

it was so much fun playing against a guy who has infinite shild cards. -_-

TBH, i don't know if im lucky or what but I find them too predictable because they are programmed and scripted to follow a one-dimensional path.

Even survivor+, the only time i get damaged is when I made a mistake ( not because of unfairness or unluckiness) at round 4. The other survivors (molded, big head) didn't even manage to hurt me once.

it feels satisfying to outwit the dumb AI.

I don't know about 21, that might cheat because it's an introduction to the game. But survival and survival+ are the real game modes and those don't cheat. Git Gud

Survival+ was really fun. Beat it on my second playthrough and didn't even got hit once :D It was my favorite DLC although it doesn't really has anything to do with RE haha. I just like card games.

yeah like some others here have stated, AI doesnt cheat, it just follows predictable patterns that are easy to figure out if you've got half a brain. was facepalming my head off yesterday watching some top twitch streamers lose in this mode multiple times and making clear and huge misplays while stating that "this is clearly rigged" and other crap like that.

I nearly killed myself out of laugh when the IA used the card "your opponent draw the biggest card" and I already had a 10 in my hand... TAKE THAT 21 ♥♥♥♥♥. Last opponent, 5 fingers in one shot !

I have to ask, is the last guy even beatable without the "destroy++" card that blocks oponent trump card usage? I managed to do 8 damage to him but after that he pulled some unbelievable BS out of nowhere. Dead silence and perfect draws spamming. Still I managed to get him into a losing state after using every single of my trump cards (he got me to 8 damage), both our sides were filled up with cards to cancel each other out, I felt a surge of happyness as I finally was going to beat him, but then..... LOL THIS ROUND DOES NOT COUNT CARD LOL. Leaving me with nothing to use in the next round he again silenced me and perfect draw. I left a really sour taste in my mouth and I haven't touched that minigame since :(

I literally just beat him with a ++ card that kept him from pulling any trump cards, dropped it right at the start. I stacked 9 damage on him and killed him in one round with a perfect 21. I didn't want to even give him the chance to pull some cheat crap. I did all kinds of voodoo, switching between his cards and mine, trading in trump cards to get bet increasing cards, etc. I got really lucky. He couldn't do anything but ask for more cards or stay. Completely clipped his you know whats.

come on!, really guys, you're crying about this now? i've played the 21 game and finished the one with lucas without even getting tortured, then the survivor, the same story, without being tortured, and the survivor + (i've only beated 9 survivors in that one) it's obviously going to be rigged, i mean, come on dude, it's supoused to be a challenge, why everyone now wants everything given away just with the flick of the wrist

What is even more annoying is when I knew I had a good strategy after the computer had 2 21 hands in a row. The next one I knew I had the edge. I put down a 6 that took me from 17 to 23. Then I placed my 24 card. Guess what? Computer stayed and won 24-23. That was total BS. I had 2 24 cards in my hand, and the computer knew that. Totally rigged!
