Do the bodies ever despawn?
In my game they wont despawn. I can still go to that pipe near the big ship and see the two dogs that attacked me that were some of my first kills.

Near whice one of big ships? Most human bodies despawn (Bodies of important charecters remain), while mutant bodies don't despawn. It is not a bad thing, because mutants sometimes find the bodies and take them away to their lairs or simply the closest bush to eat. 99% of things that happen in this game have an explanation, and mutants realy work as janitors.

Okay.

I have no idea of correct spelling but its the skadovsk one or something like that.

Yeah they are all mutant bodies and there are alot.

It is, in case of engine limitations - with powerful PC i got a 30 up to 80% fps loss in case of massive geometry "eatin" by engine.
To despawn monsters bodys and improve performance level, go to Stalker Call of Pripyat\gamedata\configs\creatures\monsters.ltx and use this code

Dr. , How would I come about accessing the files Stalker Call of Pripyat\gamedata ? I have an old asus essentio and I have never Modded before. I've only played Stalker Call of Pripyat on steam, so I honestly have no idea where to start. I appreciate the text to input but I don't know how to get to the Stalker game data files to access the monsters itx. Please, I need you assistance !?

It's not so hard to do
1. go to your steam folder (like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\)
2. find in the "common" folder your folder with Stalker CoP.
3. create a folder with name "gamedata" (without "" for sure) into this root folder.
4. open it and create folder with name configs
5. into it create folder with name creatures
6. into that create a .txt file, use SAVE AS and save it as monster.ltx (write the .ltx manually)
Full pathc will be like
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stalker Call of Pripyat\gamedata\configs\creatures\monsters.ltx
7. into this file copy and paste words

8. Save file and run game. try to play 1 - 2 ingame days. soon bodies will be off.
