God i wish the Anomaly posting will stop, i stopped reading the forums because its all Anomaly when thats a mod of Call of Chernobyl, theres a offical discord to talk about this ♥♥♥♥ and it gets in the way of people talking about the actual title and the like.

Stalker Anomaly is a standalone mod, it doesn't require any of the Stalker games (Shadow Of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call Of Pripyat). Other standalone mods that don't require the base games are Stalker Call Of Chernobyl, Stalker Lost Alpha DC, Oblivion Lost Remake and Stalker Misery.

Reddit is horrible and so is the Anomaly Posting all the time in These Forums. A Mod of a Mod of a Mod has become the new STALKER Game that replaces the original 3 Titels and on top of that it's f2p, Hilarious.

It doesn't replace anything at all, it's an alternative to people wanting more out of the STALKER Universe.

What does "false" even mean here, it's not like it actually replaced any of the stalker games, sure more people might play anomaly than SoC or CoP, but it doesn't "replace" the original games at all, Anomaly plays way way differently than any of the vanilla games, even compared to CoC.

Anomaly is a decent but extremely overhyped standalone mod. People who love the STALKER series get mad about it because due to it's hyper-popular status, new players jump straight into it without trying the base game and then spam every forum, server etc. related to STALKER with nothing but Anomaly, as seen here.

They don't know or care to know about the series, they're jumping on the bandwagon because they're favorite Youtuber told them how cool Anomaly is and how it combines all three games into one and it's free! Complete nonsense.

Playing Anomaly is considered the same as playing the base games, and it's annoying for the old fans.
