Xbox 360 controller not working

I bought this game for my partner and she said she is getting no response from my xbox 360 controller at the home screen. I've been using my controller for other steam games and had no issues. I bought the game due to it been what she likes and the fact it is highlighted as full controller compabable. Is there a fix?

Is it a wired or wireless controller?

You're the third person to report a 360 controller not working, but I don't know what the problem could be as it seems to be working fine for everyone else.

Hey Hudell, thanks for replying. Yeah my controller is wired, but the weird thing is, I got it working. I don’t know if this will be a fix or not, but if people have an issue, tell them to run the controller on another game then come back. It seemed to work for me. Not sure if it’s because I’d being using my mouse and keyboard for so long that my controller went idol? Either way it’s working fine in game and my partner is happy playing the game.

My wired 360 controller is also not working.

I just bought the game from steam, and really wanna play with my controller.
When I press that window in the top right of the screen that say "enable gamepad" (which I maybe thought that switches to controller controls) nothing happens. No luck so far. Any ideas? Switching games didn't work for me, and the controller works with other games

I'll try to get a wired controller myself to see if I can figure out what is going wrong with it.

My xbox 360 controller is also not responding on the home screen (or any other). It works in the steam calibration program & others. I tried playing other games with it (as others here suggested) and it worked just fine in them but not FF:OS. Was there ever a solution to this?
