Its an anime starting on July 14th (so its really new lol, it isn't even out in Japan yet so no dub) that's a prequel to DR2.
DO NOT WATCH IT UNTIL YOU FINISH DR2 THOUGH!!! It will have major spoilers.
There's also Danganronpa 3 Future arc, another anime that just started airing today, which is AFTER DR2 but ALSO has major spoilers for DR2.
So, just steer clear of the DR3 animes for now (and, with the first ep of the DR3 future arc airing today, the danganronpa tag on social media may also be dangerous)

In seriousness stay away from social media of Danganronpa if you haven't played 2 yet Not to mention that the Despair Arc is playing this Thurday hopefully with answer to question yet answered.

I followed others suggestion to either play Danganronpa 2 or watch the play through on Youtube.

And soon Danganronpa 3 Mirai & Zetsubou Arc anime released, people who havent played Danganronpa 2 are starting to ask whats what heuheuheu...
