Can't Join or Host Multiplayer

This issue happened just a few minutes ago. My friend got dropped from a co-op game. I kept waiting for her, and she kept trying to rejoin, even uninstalled both Steam and SDV, then reinstalled, only to still be unable to join or run the game at all. She kept getting "An error occurred while updating Stardew Valley (missing executable)."

Eventually she got the game working again by going into the program files, but she still couldn't join my game. We tried a friend invite, invite code, even an IP connection - nada. When I closed the game to restart SDV, thinking it might be on my end, I went back, hosted the game, and realized I couldn't send her an invite anymore.
