Farmhand levels not saving after quitting

When a farmhand levels up and unlocks recipes/chooses a profession, level up and profession were lost if quitting the game in the day following the notification screens for the level ups.

My farm hand leveled up Mining and Farming, and unlocked Farming 4 for preserve jars. We quit, and then reloaded the game, and while the experience screen still showed her at level 4, she didn't have the level 4 recipes. We repeated this over the next two days, during each evening, the game would give up the notifications that she had leveled up Farming and Mining, show the unlocks, and the next morning, the recipe unlocks would be available. Quit, reload, and the recipe unlocks were gone. Over the course of replicating this, she leveled up to Farming 5 and could choose a profession. Testing one more day, again the experience remained, but quitting and reloading the day wiped out the unlocks and profession choice.

We have not gone 2 entire days in game since discovering this to see if this is going to continue each time or not, or if going 2 days will somehow fix it. We'll try that tonight.

Edited to add: We were connected over LAN on two PCs in the same house if that matters.

there is a werid issue with farmhands and how the XP is stored in the files.

if a farmhand leaves at any point when they rejoin there levels will be set to 0, but when you go to bed and save the professions restore to what they were (not sure about levels 5 and 10) also it ONLY seems to affect what you can craft/cook aswell as the proficiency of the tools are set to lv 0 the XP amount (both what you had and what you needed to level up that profession) seems to remain the amount it was before they quit, also ik all this because it happened to me
