I read a popular game guide that said a better than copper pickaxe should brake open the meteor, but I'm hitting it with my new steel axe and getting the "Your pickaxe isn't strong enough to break this." Did the requirements change? What level axe do you need now?

Also, I envy you bc I'm in spring Y3 and no sign of a meteor yet (but I got the statue of perfection so the meteor can suck my earlobe <.<)

My first ever meteor arrived on day 10 of spring year one. Luckily it was far away from where I'm building, so I have no quarrel with it existing,
