Abigail: 10 hearts

So I have been giving Abigail tons of amythest, but she's stuck at nine hearts. Is this a glitch?

I'm having the same problem. Even using CJB's cheat menu to freeze time,allow infinite gifts,give infinite stamina,and get instant fishing bites with guaranteed perfects and treasures I was unable to get Abigail past 9..

I fished for ages to farm amethyst and she just won't go to 10. I suspect this might be because I'm married and that perhaps blocks you from getting 10 hearts with other bachelor/ettes,but I the game never really communicates that to you so I can't tell for sure.

Only way it gets higher is to start the romance using the bouquet. On that note, once married "single" people won't ever go above 8 hearts.

Not totally true. My main toon is married to Penny and recently I've raised every other girl to 10 hearts to see their events without having to replay the game 5 times. Without mods. Just gave each one of them a boquet. It might be a bug, but it worked for me in 1.05

Hmm, might be worth cheating on your spouse, 10 hearts doesn't suffer friendship decay.

but no, 10 hearts can drop to 9. It happened to me a few times. It's just that (speculation ahead) you usually make much more points than it's required to get to 10 hearts, so it takes a long time.

Really? According to Ape it shouldn't decay after 10. Still, hardly difficult to get it back up again at that point.

I've had Willy, Gus and Haley drop to 9 (Haley after her 10 heart event, even). But yeah, talked to them and they went back to 10.

I figured it out. I went to the mines, and found her there. Just try to go there and I think it should appear.

Also, have any of you had a lighting glitch? For some reason, only a fourth of my screen has proper lighting, while the rest is set to max light. Does anyone know how to fix it? I deleted the game, restarted my computer, and even reloaded the game, but it's still there!

I have that glitch as well,going indoors with lighting set to high gives me a darker square covering the top-left corner of the screen. I just set lighting back down to medium to make the square go away.

So I marrried Abi without ever encountering her last event at the mines. What I did was I had an Amthyst and gave it to her on her birthday, than talked to her and she got to 10 hearts, than I ran down to get the mermaid necklace and basically proposed to her in the next couple of days.

While playing the game go into settings and make it windowed, then change back to full screen. The square should go away.
