Want the ultimate brewery? Try something like this!
This fits 115 116 kegs in the 4x7 space of a deluxe barn. You can probably fit a couple more if you don't mind more traversal time - this one's designed as a loop.

Edit: After realizing that you can access even gridlocked barrels via their respective corners, I went for broke and came up with a design that manages to fit 133 134 barrels. That's a 14.8% 15.5% percent increase in barrel count over the previous design. This is the highest-density version I could come up with.

Mechanically, I still prefer the first version, since you can simply hold down your mouse button and run your character along the row of barrels and fill them one by one. In the high-density version, you have to stop by the 'holes' to fill them up, which is much slower.

Really interesting, never dawned on me to use barns etc for anything but animals.

Whats your income on the day when all the wines are ready?

Damn, son. And here I am planting kegs in the open air like a sucker.

It's kind of annoying that you can't just build some generic hut for different purposes or even toll sheds. Barns are decent for it but there should really be something that has an actual bonus for something not storing animals.

It depends on the fruit, really. Wine is worth 3x whatever the fruit price is at normal quality. It's 4.5x with the level 10 artisan perk. If you put some Starfruits into the seedmaker and plant only those in the Greenhouse, you will make a ton of money each time a batch is done, I think each bottle of Starfruit Wine will sell for 2.4k, then take that 115x.

@The sneakiest Paladin: You might be able to keep animals in there as well as the barrels, since as you can see I left the hay part open. I'm not sure if they run into pathing issues though. I found barns to be more than enough. 6 of these will work through your starfruits very very fast.

Its okay , 1 keg brings more profit than adult cow

animals are useless, no need to use barn for animals

Mm, starfruits are 800/1000/1200. So starfruit wine is 3.0x or 4.5x that with artisan. That makes 2400/3000/3600 or 3600/4500/5400 per barrel.

With artisan, each one of these barns gets you 414k/517k/621k every 6(?) days, assuming you have the starfruit to feed it.

I find it helpful to keep a keg or two near your house or inside as an indicator that you only fill when you stock up these barns, so you don't have to remember or keep checking your wineries since you can't see them like if you had put them outside. I just stick them at the far west of the farm and forget about them until the indicator barrel is finished.

Yeah same here. This is much better. Great Idea.

I've updated the original post with an even higher-density version (133 kegs ftw!) It is 15% better on paper but you will take much longer to fill up the barrels. Try them both out and see which one you prefer more.
