Mermaid's Pendant Gone. What now?

I've played the hell out of this game, but I've hit a solid problem. I bought a Mermaid's Pendant, but that Pendant is now gone.
I don't know whether it's a glitch or whether I accidentally threw it in the shipping crate. Either way, it's despawned and the Mariner doesn't sell another one.
What do I do? Can I just psawn in another one somehow?

The first time i got it, I tried to give it to penny in the library and misclicked on the tile next to her, next thing I see was penny stepping on it and it disapeared, she basicaly crushed it with her feet :O

I reset the day after that..

Well, at least it's good to know that I'm not the only one. Sadly, I didn't notice it being gone several in-game days later. I suppose I just have to wait for the next patch and then I'll contact Concerned Ape.

or you could use SMAPI for now an let one place in your nventory

The savefile is in your appdata folder. It's in xml format and can be opened with any text editor

Alright, if anyone else is having the problem: Look it up on the official Stardew Valley forums. ConcernedApe himself posted a quick fix to this.
