Fastest way to get fiber?

My farm is all clear and I need some damn much scarecrows

You can get some in the upper (1-40) and, I think, very lower (80-120) levels of the mine, but I don't know if I would call that "fast" let alone "efficient."

Sometimes you'll find those weeds in the south forest area. They don't respawn very quickly though.

Yeah, in my game I was an idiot and some time during the first year I was desperate for money and sold the 300+ fiber I accumulated from clearing my farm. BOY did I regret that. I spent countless hours farming that crap back up in the mines. Never again.

The fastest way I farmed fiber was just go to floor 20 in the mine. It has a high RNG of weeds to spawn. Sometimes the whole floor can be filled. If there is a ladder to the next floor, take it as sometimes a decent amount of weeds are there too. Then rinse and repeat. Usually get 150-200 from 12pm to 12am time period.

This is good advice. Always remember that you can exit the mine at any point, and use the elevator to go right back down to floor 20. Over and over. You're under no obligation to clear each level dutifully and find a set of stairs and progress like you're actually mining.

Go to floor 20. See some weeds? Great, chop 'em. If not, head back out and try again. It's a matter of seconds to reset the screens over and over. Don't waste too much time looking for a ladder down. If you don't almost trip over it while running around the floor anyway, it's faster for farming to just exit the mine and take the elevator back down.

In the new update i just go to the sewers then the cave place and just get all that fiber while killing grubs looking for an ancient seed

If you've completed the Community Centre and the Wizard's quests then the Mutant bug lair is a good place to get fibre quickly.

Might be a little hard if you don't speak dwarfish.

Later in the game, when you unlock the secret are in the sewers it will be filled with respawnable fiber, lots of it.

serously fiber? for scarecrows..? im in my second year now and got a field with 600+ plants and 4 scarecrows are enough... i got like 12 just sitting in a box. If u need more theres some around the wizards tower.
