Gameplay - is there any?

Some guy said in his review that he had done everything in the game in 2 hours and was bored. I've watched COUNTLESS videos, many were part 2, and have NEVER seen anyone build any structure that looked like a structure other than a mine. We all know this is "like" Kingdom and in that game structures go up fast and look like structures. I've NEVER seen anything but a mine in this. No forts, no houses, no towers, no walls, no shops, no nothing. I mean all people seem to do is chop wood and mine rocks. Where is the variety?

this is still the alpha you have to have pateince also if you look on the building description it has a level to it, so they will get bettter and bigger though idk how to increae the levels or it hasnt been implemented into the game. also there are towers/forts, walls, and houses it just takes hours to actually make them

The variety of buildings you can create is impressive, just check the building window :)

Thanks, but that's my point. Why, an hour into the game, has no one built any of that variety? All I see built after 60 minutes is the workshop and mine. In Kingdom after watching Episode 2 of someone's game play, I see all sorts of buildings plus each one has usually been upgraded once or twice. I realize this game isn't Kingdom (in fact, and the reason I'm asking all this is that this game looks better!) but how long do you have to play before you have the resources to build anything more? An hour is too long for just a mine. All the Dev ever tells me (asked this twice now) is to look at the list which does nothing to answer my question. Oh well...

Thank you for the feedback, we take into consideration all the suggestions you make and all the notices you have. We are planning to make a guide which describes the game process.
We advise you to try to get as many resources as you can, do not forget to send a unit into the mine. Check the version of the game and spend your forces with great wisdom and responsibility :)

The speed of the game process is not perfectly balanced yet. The next update will fix it so you'll be able to create your building (house, for example) in first 10-20 minutes

i think there would be alot to build if only i could. after one hour of excessive ore grinding, ready to build my first hut, the game crashes. thats ultra frustrating. when i restart i live in permanent fear that my work is senseless. for me, i will wait a few month and try again. this is too early for my taste of EA :D
so devs dont dissappoint me! ;)

Is there any news when the next update is coming? For the moment the game is unplayable because nothing to do no storage expansion except more and more crates.

No real functional army - one unit against an Orc is ot enough.

I was near building a tower but didn't see any sense in that while being crushed by 2 orcs without any chance to defeat the, because always only one unit fights.

I'm having great luck with this game. I've got a house and a tower, one guard who uses a bow and has defended us more times than I can count. Still, I'd love to see more variety in structures in future updates. Upgrading structures, interacting with them, things like that.

I'm loving the game, and I'm excited to continue looking towards doing live streams as well as a regular series on it.
Suggestion: Auto Save function, Multiple Saves (maybe 3)
Can't wait for the new update! Keep it up guys!

The update is gonna be released in the coming days. Many of the bugs and game balance were fixed, and now you can attack with more then 1 unit

Looking forwanrd very hard for the Update to start a new Game :)
