2 месяца назад они добавили первый депот во все пакеты, бинарники лежали только на тестерах и у рецензентов
на релизе они добавили бинарники в 2 пакета для тех, кто купил в стиме

а в пакеты с ключами так ничего и не добавляли с последнего раза (2 мес. назад)
надо писать издателю, прошло уже много времени

Same problem, can't even get past the legal screen. Just a stutter or two then throws me back to Windows.
Tried safe mode and "normal" mode, reinstalling, verifying files. Nothing.. Really frustrating as I was really looking forward to playing Metro on a brand new PC. Experiences like this makes me miss playing on consoles lol.
Have you verified game cache and restarted the Steam client?
Using Epic Store as I didn't pre-purchase it.
Verified, didn't work safe or "normal" mode. Gives me at best 0.5 seconds of the legal screen then throws me back to Windows.
Reinstalled, tried, same result. Verified after reinstalling, tried, same result.
Really tempted to see what I can do for possible refunds and just get a physical console copy from the local store, but that's practically impossible I take it.
Edit: Also tempted to just get a refund and say "nope" until they've fixed this launch. Don't want to support companies who can't even deliver a product at full price after postponing development already. I understand that it's complicated, but why should I, the one time I actually preorder as I love the series, be willing to pay full price and pre-order when I can't be 100% positive that I can even play the damn game on a new PC. So frustrating.

Yeah was going to do that as a last step before seeing if I can get a refund or something (doubt it though). Thanks for the link, sent them a ticket now. Crossing my fingers that I get some fix or whatever. Been hyped for this game for so long..
A year wait might turn out to be just the thing for Steam users that dont like day 1 buggy garbage for our money. Turns out the Epic store users and the unfortunate Steam pre order buyers are really just the last line of Beta testers for the real Steam release next year.
