My thoughts on the PC port.

I'd like to say a few things about this title. Take my words with a grain of salt, there is no need to be angry at me if you disagree.

This is a port from the Vita.

A PC Port does not automatically get a upgrade in visuals from a console version. That being said, while the game runs at 1080p at 60 frames per second, it does not equate to AAA quality graphics. The graphics are somewhat better looking than the Vita, but this is due to the resolution - the Vita uses qHD resolution, and our port is 1080p. If you compare both versions side by side, the anime shader is the same and apart from maybe a new font, the girls look identical.

Same with the girls 3D models. They weren't enhanced with extra polygons to smooth over the jaggy parts of the girls. They are low to mid poly at best, since the Vita's GPU was a beefed up GPU that you would also see in high-end smartphones back when the Vita was released (In fact, it's a quadcore SGX PowerVR chip).

People fail to realize that Marvelous wasn't going to spend extra cash to get the models updated to... say... DOA quality. If they wanted to, they could have used the same assets from the Estival Versus installment, which is by far the sexiest looking game in the series.

However, since Estival Versus was likely to show off Senran Kagura on the PS4, they opted to do the easy difficulty and just port the Vita graphics over to the PC. They wanted to bring a Vita game onto the PC, and they did so.

Sure, you can use the quad HD upscale and then downscale to 1080p for a more refined visual experience, but you can see some issues, especially around the groin/pelvis area of the girls get stretched as well as the game's "touch" things on the screen (where you can click to select menu items, etc) get mangled. (case in point - use the quadHD downscale to 1080p trick and then try to play with your girl in the dressing room. You'll find that right clicking her doesn't work, because the area of the screen where the touch zone hasn't changed and is stuck in the 4K resolution touch zone locations.)

It includes all the DLC from the Vita
Marvelous was very generous to include it all for us, otherwise they could have pulled a common "buy it as an seperate purchase" tatic like the EV add-on items in the PS Store.

Sure, you gotta buy it in-game with Zeni but hell - you get 2 extra characters that are tanks to play with. Oh, and lingerie lotto. All them pantsu.

Sound is good but suffers some bugs
For a game like this, the sound has to be acceptable. The BGM sets the mood during fights, and the girls will moan when they are getting slashed up. Some of the mob characters actually sound cute. There's a few bugs like your girl will be making the same one-liner when she gets hit for quite a number of hits to come - I had Asuka going "Hey...!" for about 5 times in a row until she said something different.

The volume isn't consistent, sometimes when the girls exclaim the combo it can be quite loud. Although they do get more and more excited each time you get 100 hit combos all the way up to 1000 hits. After that, they stop getting excited.

There's also odd bug where Asuka will make a "Umm...." subtitle appear in the Shinobi Room. This is easily do able if you play as Yagyuu or another character that will make Asuka an NPC; then you can go up to her and she'll make a subtitle appear over her dialogue box.

The OP and title screen music set the mood appropirately.

Story
I'm not going to fully comment as I haven't finished the whole game but some of the story where 4 of your classmates excluding Daijodi are not available with a red slash covering their selection slots gave me the vibe that something really bad happened.

Will say though, Yumi seems to be very hellbent on justice. And Hebijo? Oh boy.

Controls
I play with a controller, and while the layout is not perfect for the Xbox 360 controller of mine, it's better than nothing. If you want a challenge, play KB + Mouse for this title.

Price Tag
$30 USD for a game like this is more than acceptable. I've paid preorders for Call of Duty that are over $100 AUD only to get shiny [toilet sounds] when I find out it's riddled with microtransactions and pay-2-win items. You get everything that comes with the Vita version including DLC sans any bonus things like posters, waifu hugpillows or whatever.

Heck, if Estival Versus comes to PC I'll gladly snap it up for the same price tag.

Overall
While it's not a perfect port, it's better than some I've seen. The game crashed only once during my first playthrough which was due to a USB device randomly resetting itself.

Another common gripe is if the game crashes randomly, it's due to some tablet PC thing Windows has - there's many threads here that will help you out (just kill a tablet input process and volia).

No man, if i wanted to buy a decent/good japanese port with cute girls i'd rather go with Arcana Hearts 3. This game will probably get 0 patches and be abandoned pretty quick. Cheap stuff. I'd recommend people not to waste their money with these developers.

So far no crashes, no bugs that I have seen, runs at 1080/60. Not the best looking game but I am hoping they bring estival versus over to PC.

I'd say it is a .. reasonable made port with no outstanding issues, though the option to make the stuff look butter with out needed a 3rd party tool, would be most welcome.

Need to look around at the .cab files see if i can replace the textures for the xb icons with PS3/PS4
