ELEX
Where can I get more stones?
I would love to get some great red stones for my weapon, but sadly I just dont find enough of those. Any way to get more of them or can you only find them?

Explore and most importantly use Sunglasses that highlights items.

So there is no other option to get them? Because I think it's rather hard tog et 16 small red stones (or 48, if you want 3 big red ones)...

Yeah that one had me scratching my head too doesn't seem to be anywhere near enough of these stones to get any big ones ... I prob missed some but still have only found enough to make one reg stone out of any colors.

Gemstones (in my experience) tend to primarily come from more dangerous locations. I often find them in dens of Reavers or old world ruins that are defended by the more dangerous mutant types.

I've systematically gone over most of the ruins and camps I cleared previously with the sunglasses and found preciously few.

Cleared roughly 70-80% of the entire world.

There are not enough gems to make the large ones or if there are, there are only enough to make one of each.

This. I actually think there's probably EXACTLY enough to make one large of each gem. I've managed to make 3 green mid-size gems, less of the others. You probably have to loot every single toxic/radiation zone too, like the basement of the mausoleum as well as random out of the way places, and you have to steal some.

Then this should definitely be fixed. I think some merchants should sell them (but only limited quantity) or maybe you should be able to find some normal ones too at very dangerous locations.
I think they should be considered a rare drop if you have Rank 2 mining. Sadly they arent

For the longest time, I thought there would be a trader for these ...
I thought wrong.

Gemstones and mining both need to be balanced. They are both too difficult and / or offer too little incentive.

This would be a great idea that would make both skills less pointless.

As it currently is, the Gemstone socketing ability is near worthless. +1 of anything they give bonuses to is meaningless.

Work as intended trust me, in every Piranah bytes game you will find some skilsl that are completely useless, and on purpose, you know why?

It is called " money sink" , developers want you to get the worst build possible if you dont understand the game mechanic proberly, it is a very harsh game in every aspect, typical piranha, they put there some skills so that you waste your points and money, it is intended.

For exampel, why waste points in mining, if you can simply harvest the infinite mobs for Natural Elexit, why spent point in Goldsmith, if you are a good explorer you can find everything you need ;) everything is there for a reason. be it bad or good, they want it to be that way.

Well, even if it's an intended feature, people still have the rights to hate that shiz. I mean, that's how society works irl.
Understand the rules and prosper or get used as stepping stones and hate everything.

I agree with this. I always return to my ''Goliet gates'' save each time i notice till 15th level i made poor choices with my character build. I mean i read some of the stuff people said around the interwebz some people are investing in extremely stupid skills to get that extra dialogue option.

TRhast the way it is, for example why would anybody spend points in charisma? why you soulw spend it on haggle that just give a -5 discount to everything you can buy?

They do it on purpose, they place there useless perks so that you waste points and money, Age of Decadence was the same, if you dont understand your build and how the world work, you are going to fail.

Age of Decadence and ELEX are true RPG in that aspect of making char builds :D
