My settings got reset...again.
i don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ is happening, but this is the second time that my settings got reset. It happened after a mod from steam workshop that was updating, so i restarted the game and then BOOM, settings lost, all default.

That's totally strange. Btw, if you have Steam cloud enabled, it should be able to download them back, I think.

no i think i can't, because when you get out of the game, it sends the information to steam cloud, in other words, it sent the default settings to steam cloud. Now i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and have to reconfigure all over again. Don't get me wrong guys, i don't blame you for that, i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love you. Your support is better than any other game developer, you gives us attention and support, that's why i buy your games.

I really would like to know how to reproduce that problem. If you know how to repeat it, and can list exact steps, I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

of course man. So, i was starting the ss3 in moddable version and then ss3 was updating a map called "Reactor Core Meltdown"

so after that, the game asked me to restart, so i did it. After that, the game launched normally, so i was going to play with my last savegame from ss3 extended, and then i saw the game with poor graphics and ♥♥♥♥, so i went to the menu and saw the configuration, it was all default again, the only config that didn't reset was the mouse and keyboard settings.

Hm, are you sure this is not the difference between moddable and default version? I hope you are aware that each one of those has separate settings?

The steps you describe above are what you have been doing when it happened. But is it really reproducible? I.e. when you do those steps again, does it reset your options again?

man, to be honest, it never happened before, i did what i just described and then the setting got reset, i tried to reproduce it but the settings were ok. The last time that happened, i don't remember how, i think i just started the game normally and then the settings got...y'know.
