Weird thing happened with my save. Can someone help?

I collected bandages and got to 30, so I unlocked Josef and Alien Hominid. After this my game crashed (I accidentally alt+tabbed) and when I started the game up, I only had 23 bandages, but the levels that I had taken the bandages from did not have any bandages in them and the characters are locked again. Now, I can't get the bandages back, but the characters are still locked. Is there any way I can alter my save to get back to 30 bandages?
