"The Kids Xmas" achievement - Easier than it should be?

I was able to get this one by doing one of the first few levels in an unexpected way.

Can't remember which level, but you're 'supposed' to slide down, up, right, down, up, right, down, up, etc while dodging saw blades. Is it intended that there's no top to the level, and you can just jump along the top to the right instead of going past the saw blades?
