im guessing he wants the newer disgaea 1 complete on here to even though i think its switch/ps4 exclusive at the moment

Yeah Disgaea 1 'Complete' Edition is coming out on PS4/Switch. I'm sure some people aware of it are wondering when it's coming to PC, since Disgaea 5 Complete in in the process of coming to PC after moving from PS4, to Switch, to PC.

OP is clearly talking about wanting the higher definition art from the Complete Edition. As far as I am aware that's the only major difference between Disgaea "PC" and Disgaea "Complete".

The only reason I haven't bought Disgaea PC is because they didn't update the character sprites to HD. Upgrading the PC version to the Complete version would win me over. I can't be the only one who thinks the old sprites look like trash on a modern display.

Disgaea 1 Complete will most certainly come as a separate game, not as an upgrade. And that's a good thing, given how bug-prone Disgaea 1 PC can be sometimes. Anyway, we probably won't see it on PC before a while, maybe in one or two year.
