Glad you are on it.
I've tested workaround mentioned there on GOG version, game no longer crashes after tutorial.
Better explanation of how to do it on Windows: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Troubleshooting_guide/Startup_and_launching_problems#Bypass_OpenSSL_SHA_bug_on_Intel_10th_gen_and_later_CPUs
We might finally have a fix to a bug that affects some of our players with newer CPUs.
We have uploaded the patch to our Wartile Beta Branch for testing.
Since we cannot reproduce the bug on our current systems, it would be a great help if anyone affected by this crash bug would test our Wartile Beta branch with the patched version of Wartile.
How to enter Wartile Beta
Right-click on Wartile from the game library and choose properties.
Select BETAS and Select the beta you would like to opt into: choose Beta - Early testing of upcoming changes.
Close the window and wait for the new build to upload.
If Wartile no longer crashes after completing the tutorial, please let us know
We know this is lots to ask, but any help to confirm this bug has been fixed will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
The Playwood Project Dev Team
