luck i brought this ♥♥♥♥ for only BR5,00.
Maybe you also need to add Naild_x86.exe to your firewall white list.
I haven't tried to open the port yet.
I have windows 7 and have opened the 27345 using UDP in the windows firewall and disabled my bitdefender firewall, but it still doesn't work.
I disabled my windows firewall and bitdefender firewall for the hell of it, and nothing (and I have added the exe to the white list, but that was already in there). Do you have more succes?
I hope Valve owns up here and offers me a refund (rather than credit) because this is clearly false advertising. Similar to what happened to The WarZ but Steam offered a refund in that case.

to me
Dear Customer,
thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately the nail'd multiplayer servers were switched off in March 2012 already due to the decreasing demand for this service from our players.
We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences caused.

From the email:
Please note in the future that Steam purchases, per the Steam Subscriber Agreement, are not refundable - this refund was issued as a one-time customer service gesture.
So if you fight it based of evidence and fact, are polite and fully prepared to take legal action, you can get a refund on this if you bought it when it still listed multiplayer as an available feature (anytime between March 2012 - Jan 5 2013). Note that Valve has removed that feature from the description so the description of the game is now accurate.
Is it worth your time or money to fight it? It's up to you. The principle of getting what is advertised that you payed for is worth it to me. If you're happy with just single player in this game...then maybe not.
Thank you Valve for coming through on this.
Good advice on creating local profile instead of internet profile, I really did not notice that before..
Works fine after that at least on my computer.
It's not Motorstorm or similar but for the price (€5) it's ok I think (just my opinion).
and the game will work fine , but there is still no multiplayer
