IF YOUR GAME IS BLURRY
If you are experiencing blurry gameplay try changing anti aliasing to fxaa or off rather than txaa. for some reason it creates blurriness. probably just a bug. hope this helps

It's not a bug. TAA (similar to NVidia's TXAA) in Skyrim: The Special Edition and even Fallout 4 creates blurriness also. It's a known factor.

Hmm, nice tip, i never thought to change from TXAA to FXAA as i thought it would be jaggier.. Will try !
Get reshade and set your lumasharpening to 1.20, fixes it perfectly.

I always run fxaa in every game I play due to the blurryness of txaa.

Sorry. My mistake. The TAA in Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE also cause blurriness. TXAA and TAA are both a form of temporal antialiasing. So no coincidence?
Is there a way to implement an alternate AA? The game indeed looks much crisper without the TXAA, but the moving jagged white lines are quite annoying. I tried applying AA through Nvidia Control Panel but the jagged white lines wont disappear. ALso tried using SweetFX SMAA, yet it does not affect the game either.

Are those the only choices? Blurry or jaggy?
I'm in the same boat. I'm on AMD hardware. I run 1080P resolution with in-game TAA option and the game looks beautiful when im NOT moving. As soon as i move even a slight step, left or right, the background foliage blurs and it's super annoying. When i switch to FXAA, the game looks "cheap", like original 2011 xbox 360 graphics.

I've never personally seen such an extreme effect of AA on a game before. Ive tried running FXAA from Radeon settings, combined with TAA in game..still blurry. Maybe try MSAA OR SSAA from Radeon and run FXAA in game? Anyone think that could work? Is the VSR option a possibility to get rid of blurry? Im playing on a Samsung TV monitor. Anybody with AMD out there with suggestions or input?

Reshade with Lumasharpening is your answer.
In Skyrim, the blur is very low. But in Dishonored 2, my eyes are bleeding after 10min of gameplay, dunno why. When I turn off the TXAA (even the anti-aliasing), the depth of field and the bloom, there is still a blur over the screen.

Maybe the framerate combined to the motion blur, input lag and the vignette.

It's not a bug. txaa is blurry in any game. Sadly fxaa is really badly implemented here. I guess we could try forcing smaa viz reshade
That why ♥♥♥♥ looks like an oil painting at a distance? lol.
@linblum. Thank you. I've never used either of those. Where can i go to get this? Is it a big performance hit? Is it a mod or a program? Sorry. Im not educated in reshade or lumasharpening.

Download the latest version and install it, when you're ingame shift + F2 and you can configure it, use the Lumasharpening, not the adaptivesharpening, and I've experienced no FPS loss at all with lumasharpening.

I just realized im in the dishonored 2 forum. Ive been referring to Skyrim SE this whole time. I googled Skyrim, blurry, txaa and arrived here. Anywho..im guessing this is hopefully a fix for both games?
