*SPOILERS* Addermire Quest Bug?

So, I'm doing the quest at Addermine Institute, and I've just done a non-lethal takedown of the Crown Killer. I didn't talk to Dr. Hypatia before getting the cure for her and so on. I have found a note in the Recuperation Room saying where Dr. Sokolov has been taken, so I have the information I need. But when I try to leave the recuperation room, the only quest marker I have points back to the recuperation room. My quest journal hasn't updated, and if I go to the boat to speak to Meagan, she tells me I haven't finished the mission yet.

But I HAVE gotten the information, and Dr. Hypatia won't talk to me so the quest can't continue.

Is there any way to get the game to acknowledge that I actually do have the necessary information and let me go finish the quest? Or do I have to start all over again because the game devs were too lazy to make the game work right yet again?

How were you able to knock the Crown Killer out?

I've tried that a few times.
Choking and a falcon punch from above. But the Crown Killer always stood up again.
So the cure or killing seem to be the only way to take her down.

Addition:
When I tried to take out Hypatia, before she turns into the Crown Killer, she immediately transforms without being knocked out.

Ah, sorry. I've overlooked that part.
Well, in that case I cannot provide any info.

But: I haven't talked to her either in my first run, as I feared she might be hostile or it counts as detected (was doing a Clean Hands and Ghostly run at first).
So I talked to her assistant instead, he gave me the key to the room where I was able to produce the cure, before he gets killed by the Crown Killer.
I got the cure and healed her and then I listen to the audiograph in the laboratory, which said where Sokolov is located.

You don't have any older savegame?

Wait, you said you found a note.
Do you mean the audiograph? There is an audiograph in the back of the Recuperation Room, where also a bone charm is located.
You need to listen to that for the actual info about Sokolov.

no she doesnt act up when you use the one near the bone charm, if you listen to the one near vasco she gets pissed.
