Did you create Sheyna keeping Dejah Thoris in mind as a model/template?

Doing some research on Google, they are almost similar.

A lot of the girls from the "Sword and Sorcery" (or "Sword and Planet") genre look pretty similar. Mostly because they don't really wear anything that would set them apart from each other; they all just have tiny bits of metal covering their pink parts, and most only use a sword (assuming they use weapons at all).

It's entirely possible that they just made a more-clothed, not-red Dejah Thoris... but really, if you create a girl for a Sword and Sorcery setting, odds are she's gonna look like Sheyna, Dejah or many others.

This is probably the correct answer, though I see from Xena mostly the name ... but almost anything in the game is taken from various sources, Vallejo, Frazetta, Conan, Red Sonja, Rice Burroughs ... and Star Wars ... ^^

I read Rahan when I was a kid, loved the themes as Rahan is essentially a caveman explorer, scientist, inventor, detective and diplomat. He was the voice of reason and logic in an extremely chaotic world, breaking nonsensical taboos and figuring out all the tricks that a shaman might use to control their tribe. And there were still dinosaurs around for some reason.

There was even an animated series, though unlike the bande dessinée, there was no nudity in that version. Shame.

I believe you will find that the reason is because Dinosaurs are Awesome. The fine folks at Crian Soft have also, it would seem, come to this conclusion.
