UPDATE October 7th (ALERT: Server Wipe Coming)
Update:

We hit a few snags with tonight's patch which is going to require some additional testing before we push it out to you all. We had to make the call to hold off until the changes are working as intended rather than push out something not fully up to spec.

We will be testing throughout the weekend and hope to push the patch out on Monday which will include a server wipe of both public and private servers. Thanks for your patience and trust us that it will be worth the wait.

Hey All,

We wanted to give you a heads up that we will be doing a full wipe of the public servers when we push tonight's patch. We plan to avoid having to do wipes in the future, but this one is necessary as we are adding in some server side things that we think you all will like. We will be posting more details about what is coming in tonight's patch and server refresh. We think you will be happy about a few of them. :)

Update: The wipe will include private servers, but trust us its for the best.

You shouldn't have to. Most of the big changes are to do with fixing public servers.

I was thinking that maybe you guys didn't want us to destroy the furniture and that you would rather to see them floating in the air or you'd rather to increase the capacity of the furniture which wouldn't change anything and eventually will also be full on every server and people still won't be able to play the game on the online server just because they simply won't be able to destroy the stuff to build the new ones.

On top of that all the game files are not server based so people are editing the game files to get the best structures , items, resources hover bikes , cars anything they want just by changing simple command in the game file. This way they will always fill the server's buildings / furniture capacity to the fullest so nobody else will be able to play on their server just because the cheated capacity will not let people to do that.

The only solution is to make files server sided and to make structures / vehicles destructable.

This game would be doomed as long as files wouldn't be server sided and as long as you can't destroy items like vehicles, furniture and other stuff.

That are my first impressions of the game.

Just simply not being able to play it because of 3 issues and as long as they won't change people will keep complaining trust me.

Just make vehicles and furniture destructable too.

This way it will be fair for everyone

The most annoying issue in the game however is this one


It's that when people are playing on the server alone everything seems to be fine, there is no lags freezes or stuttering.

But as soon as someone else enters the server and there are 2 people on the server in total, the game becomes unplayable because of the freezes, lags and stuttering. You are not able to move not to even mention about turning around and aiming or mining.

This must have something to do with the game distance rendering, just make rendering radious of certain players against other players to 0


Please, will you be able to repair it?

So, if it concerns public servers only, I suppose we are talking about performance FPS issues being fixed AND/OR removing build limits? :D Otherwise, why private servers are not affected and public ones do? Will we see new features too ?

Yup that's what I'm saying and counting on.

I am hoping for the performance bug fix since just like I've mentioned and some other people have the same experience.

Good job we all know it's early testing and some changes required full wipe, what's about private universe multiplayer? Do you planing implement VoIP communication in game? or are you looking for someone to cooperate with you? if you interesting my company provides VoIP communication for player gamers more details, we can talk by e-mail or add me on steam and i will provide my address e-mail.

When is "tonight" for you? Is it Pacific time? I am UTC+1 so i think for me tonight is tomorrow morning (+9 hours from you then)
