That exchange just cracked me up
Every item on that list seems needed and a wonderful idea.
Very much looking forward to this. My son and I are building new rigs for christmas so we'll be seeing all your hard work in all it's ultra detailed glory. :)
A few observations on the game from me)
You need:
1. To increase the limit on the primary construction and for furniture. In the case of the main buildings of the colony - an increase of a certain number when you join to colony a new players.
2. to make possible the connection of several basic structures interconnected by corridors. This will allow you to concentrate more players in a certain area of the map.
3. Floodlight for lighting the surroundings of the base with the onset of night time. And as visual beacons for travellers.
4. Custom turrets for a certain type of target, and to fix finally the shooting of the players of one faction (especially on PVE servers). It looks stupid.
5. The increase aliens attacks with a number of days of survival on the planet, as well as infrastructure development of the colony. Will not let players get bored when all structures has builded.
6. This satellite of the gas giant has small gravity, in such an environment, it is reasonable to introduce flying creatures with different degrees of aggressiveness.
PS: Local livestock has a closed biological cycle? Why do we need human waste, when worn around the crowd of various animals?
And thank you for making AR ammo cheaper. Now I don't feel bad when I take 50 clips with me to a cave instead of 10.
The skill tree and proficiency levels show some serious depth with character development. And yes, these RPG elements are never seen in survival games. You may be treading on some new ground here. How it's implemented will (IMHO) be the deciding factor for this game to stand out above all the other survival games.
I'm a little concerned about the outdoor crafting machines though. I'm getting a feeling of redundacy from that. Hopefully, the crafting inside the hab will be more higher level as it needs that kind of environment.
Overall, I can see the effort your team has been putting into this. I'm quite impressed with the progress. And it's good to hear from the team too. When communication gets sparse, players begin to question the dedication of the dev team.
Good Luck with the rest of the development of the game.
