It says i have been globally banned(abyss) what is an abyss and why am i banned? is this an update thing?

Same thing, I feel like they are taking controll of something they shouldn't have much control over as the ban reason of abyss is something that the owner of a server I go on uses so he is going to be banned from playing his own server he even specifically allows it, I think that they are stepping way over there aloud area as the servers themselves can easily ban them if it comes to the need to.

1,500 people were globally banned for the reason of cheating, but this isn't some game where it is all based on a centrall server it is based on many diffrent servers privately hosted and likewise any cheating in my opinion should be dealt with by the owners/admins of said server.

yea i mean if its not a mistake about me being banned then honestly i want my money back for Gmod i payed for it to play with friens and stuff but now i cant.

Only got Gmod so that me and my friends could play and Gmod was awsome from vids i seen so 2 months later i decided to get Gmod

And say you and your friends wanted to mess around with something like an aimbot on a server that one of you hosted, and you got banned for that. There is no reason to go into a servers region of controll.

Right? But im prob gonna be banned for ever i guess steam dont listen very well to something like this. No offence to them at all

I'm not letting it go, this is way out of their area in my opinion I mean unless the person is editing the files to a point there is a legal issue.

Yea it is way put of there area banned from a server is one thing but being banned to where you cant even play with your friends is another especally if people didnt even do anything. I play Gmod for the fun and for friends I PAYED MONEY FOR IT If i cant play With friends i want Some Moneyz back. So i can play another game with friends, Gmod is my favorite though
