Dedicated server soundscape problem
When I load the map gm_construct_flatgrass_v6-2 on a SP game the soundscape is normal, and when I use soundscape_debug I can see all the trigger points. When I load it on my dedicated server though, there is a generic factory ambinence (or something like that) and when I use soundscape_debug all the trigger points are gone. I tried manually adding the soundcache from my client to the server, but that made no difference. I am aware other people have had a similar problem on other maps, so any ideas?

Bump, I need help with this, or at least a reason.

Did you ever get soundscapes working in the end on the Dedicated server?

This is the same for me, but on gm_bigcity.

Finally, I got it fixed on my end. I don't know if this is still an issue, but perhaps someone might need this in the future...

- Get GCFScape, it allows you to open GMod's package files. I'm not going to provide a download link due to spam filters and all, so just look it up on google.
- Go to steamapps/<account_name>/garrysmod/garrysmod/ and open garrysmod_dir.vpk using GCFScape.
- Go to your srcds/garrysmod/ folder (on your server), and remove the scripts folder located in it.
- Now drag and drop the scripts folder from GCFScape to where you just deleted the old folder.

That's it, you're done! Restart your server and the soundscapes *should* be fixed. Bigcity should now sound like a city again, rather than a warehouse or a river. I know it did exactly that on my end, and it's back to normal now.
