I prefer the general feel of Portal 1 better than 2. It feels a lot more fluid and together. Guess I will just have to accept the fact anyway. :/
To be honest I am not really sure what the workshop really does. I have never used it, but Id eimagine that Portal 1 doesnt have a workshop is bcuz it was a single player game only. then once Portal 2 had multie player ability, they decided 2 go & make workshop stuff available. not sure how long workshop has been available for Portal 2, if it wasnt there when it came out, as i have been out of video gameing loop for a while
The workshop allows you to quickly download maps by the click of a button and makes it possible for the map creator to update the map without you having to check for an update, it updates automatically. Just because it's a singleplayer game doesn't mean it can't get the Workshop, I mean, Skyrim has it.
