Hi, im looking at this game, but i have a question (first of many). When you land on the planet, is there anything you can do other than explore? I guess what im trying to ask is are you able to build bases on the planet? If not what can you do on planets other than explore?

Hi.

- You can explore in a TW (Terrain Walker).
- You can do contracts with your TW/Ship.
- Atmospheric Combat with your ship.
- Combat in you TW.
- Build and repair Settlements.
- Catch birds (Contracts).
- Save a city from asteroids dropping out of space.

If you have mining equipment, you can mine the planet and get some pretty good resources, too. The right equipment can also let you collect the atmosphere - some gases are useful, or mission-related.

And yes, you can build cities on planets. :-) You'll need a build constructor though.
