So guys, which win version do you have? My friend has win 10 and it is working, my win 7 isnt working.
I'm on windows ten and I have the same issue so I doubt it's only that

So, it can't be
1. the win version
2. dx version
3. drivers (because they are current)

Anyone with more ideas?

Go to Steam > steamapps > common > Borderlands 3 > Engine >Extra > Redist > en-us and there install UE4PrereqSetup_x64. it worked for a friend

How can i switch btw Dx11 and Dx12?

Tried that one, sadly did not helped. Did a driver update, and all the standard procedures. This time around I even had a window with end user license agreement. But no luck in game starting.

You don't want too, DX12 still doesn't work and it won't help.

I had that issue. I just waited for a few minutes and it worked. I've restarted it a few times since then with no subsequent issues.

The most I've been able to find is people just went and got a refund, I am doing the last thing I saw which was delete all the data and redownload. Also did you got it day 1 on steam?

Bmshows has a point, it doesn't seem to help but just for interests sake you go into the games settings .ini, it's in the games folder in your my documents folder

Same here. as soon as I saw I also bought, and yes, the game opens, all the maker's crap pops up, then claptrap starts dancing across the screen, then it freezes after on average 53 seconds. I should also mention I use SSD, can't begin to fathom what HHD users are going through!
