Either scout these, or shoot sharper.
From my original post:
I open every crate, every locker, break every scag ♥♥♥♥ pile
When you're in the middle of nowhere on these maps in the middle of a mission, fighting an elite, and you run out of ammo and there's nothing around.......should I just run away to an ammo shop?
Ok, seeing your BL3 stats and total played hours, I can only assume you are still little level, that cant benefit from ammo skills.
Besides, from the middle of nowhere you can simply teleport to the area holding ammo store, watch for the orange globe nearby.
Upd. he's not even on the ship yet.
The simplest solution is cutpurse - can keep up with any comsumption and with new guardian perk even makes sense in terms of damage output.
Side note: What FPS games don't use ammo? I can't think of any
Once you have a few differnt gun types and upgrade your ammo stock it becomes not even a situation that happens until mayhem.
Between a pistol, assault rifle and a third gun you should never really run out if you switch between them.
Also strong guns like Jakobs help you get as much damage out per bullet you can get.
Alternatively, I was using Jakobs during 1st run and those guns do not need much ammo;)
Got plenty of money, but you can't just summon a vendor to buy ammo out in the middle of nowhere or while fighting an elite mob spawn.
I guess I can teleport back and buy ammo and then walk/drive back to where I was, but that isn't fun, it's tedious and breaks the flow of the games combat, and I would rather do a lot of other things at that point.
