HTC VIVE Support is my main reason to buy this game.
So I´m interested in reviews or details about the current status of game support for VR in HTC VIVE.

Will it work if I buy it right now?
Is there a partial support or missing features if played in VR?

If it is not working yet,
Can any developer provide an estimated idea of when it could be played in VR?

THANKS!!

Yes, but you never replied me back after that.
Also I didn´t understood too much about what this means "Yes, there will be partial VR support in the game on launch but it's just a proof of concept because you don't see any HUD markers or menus, yet."

It means It could be played but with a limited HUD and menus? I could play if I use menus in the monitor?
what does this means in the end for playing the game in VR?

thanks

Oh, ok, sorry.
So, at the moment, you cannot "play" the game in VR. You won't see any HUD markers and cannot access menus. That means that you won't stand a chance. It's just for getting a feeling of how it will work later.

Ohhh man...what a shame.
ok, thanks anyway for clarifying this in the end. I´m pretty sure other players may be interested on this too.

Depends on a few things: How well the Early Access launch is performing and upcoming Unreal Engine updates. But right now I think it will at least take until the end of the year.

That's a shame, I was going to buy it tonight, but nevermind. I'll put it on my wishlist and keep an eye on it.

How do you do even test it? I have my Vive headset on... launch the game, am in the game (first person) and nothing is being fed to the headset

as soon as this gets Vive support instant purchase for me!

Yes, I don't think I can buy a non-VR space game again after getting the Vive.

Putting this on my wishlist for now and looking forward to reading about further VR updates! The Unreal Engine is pretty horrible for VR right now, unfortunately, and I wonder if the developer have any plans on supporting their forward rendering engine when it is released (it will enable better anti-aliasing for VR and hopefully be up to par with Unity in performance)?

I have patience, though. I can wait with buying this game for a year or so, if the developer needs time.
