The most common case is that people are installing Hurtworld for 32 bit.
Server Restarting - what it sounds like. Wait for the server to restart and connect again.
Combat log player still in world - wait ~30 seconds, and connect again.
Duplicate session, please reconnect - wait a few seconds, and connect again.
Taking too long to load structures - try connecting again. This is usually a result of a weak computer connecting to a very dense server. If it happens during play, please let us know.
Family sharing not allowed - Family Sharing has been disabled to prevent exploitation of the ban system.
STEAM Auth Ticket failed basic validation k_EBeginAuthSessionResultDuplicateRequest - Steam thinks you are already waiting on a ticket to join the server. Try logging out and back in to Steam, and join again.
One of best ways we can help is through the logfile.
On Windows and Linux it can be found here:
\steamapps\common\Hurtworld\hurtworld_Data\output_log.txt
On Mac OS, it can be found here:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
Open a new topic under the Bug report forum. We recommend Pastebin[pastebin.com] for getting it to us, or if it's very large, zip it up.
If you restart your game in between an error happening, and sending us the log, it will be overwritten and we can't help you with it.
EAC is our anti-cheat system, which prevents hackers from using things like aimbots, ESP and other client-side cheats. Occasionally EAC can prevent you from playing Hurtworld legitimately.
Error Code 13
EAC was unable to launch Hurtworld for some reason. Ensure that you have enough free RAM. Try running Hurtworld without EAC - if you are unable to, the issue isn't with EAC but with Hurtworld. Verify your local content, and if that doesn't work, reinstall.
Error Code 19
If you get this error when launching Hurtworld, it's probably due to your antivirus detecting EAC as a potential threat and quarantining it. There's been a lot of discussion as to why EAC isn't a virus or malware, it just needs to do some things that programs typically don't do.
To fix this error, add the entire Hurtworld folder in /steamapps/ to your antivirus exceptions.
Yep, we know about this. It's frustrating, but unfortunately its a Unity issue. We will need to wait on them for a solution.
