Gauntlets and Fabled Items

Been making my way through the Cosmic Gauntlet now for.... many weeks, maybe even a month or two. I haven't beaten the final boss in story mode, so now I'm starting to wonder... I don't know how many levels I've gone through in this current gauntlet, but I'm fairly sure I've beaten every other boss (at least once). There hasn't been much of an indicator how much further I have to go, but the floor I just got to now is called Gauntlet 45 - Lysithea. Does anyone know if that indicates anything?

Also, I have a lot of hours in the game at this point, especially in this gauntlet run now..., and I've yet to come across even one fabled item (green). My rare item find % isn't amazing so that's definitely playing a big role, but I have to have full-cleared over a hundred floors in the gauntlet right now and still nothing... Not sure what's up.

I thought the point of the gauntlet dungeons was that they were endless, giving players something to perpetually do once they had completed the campaign. I've never stepped foot in them myself, so I don't know that as a fact.

I reached level 50 playing through the campaign without seeing a fabled. Seems kind of ridiculous; although, I think I had a similar experience in Van Helsing where I never found an item of the rarest quality.
