Will a Nvidia 670 GTX w/2 gb vram work with this?
I have 16 gigs system ram and a 3770k overclocked to 4.2 ghz, but only have a 670 GTX and can't afford a better card. Will mine work?

Will any new game run on that?

Plenty. I still run most new stuff on high graphics settings.

I had a gtx 770 with 2gb of vram and game was crashing every 2 minutes.

Sorry, I don't buy that. I'm running a 970 and have issues running certain games on Ultra. Final Fantasy XV wouldn't run at all without hitching everywhere.

I don't know if X4 will. You can run out of texture memory quickly in the game wihich will result in missing meshes like heads and torsos. Egosoft has a sticky about it. But if you simply don't have enough video ram for the meshes and so forth then I seriously doubt the experience is going to be that good.

Damn. I guess not. :( Looks like X3 Star Wars mod for the time being and maybe afteribirth. :(

The new UI in X4 looks soooooo good, too. I'm tired of hotkey warrior menu hell in x3.

I'm running a GTX 750 ti and have somewhat consistent artifacts, invisible crewmen, and those weird "polygon" things that sometimes show up instead of objects, like a super low res 90's n64 game.

I don't consider any of that gamebreaking, because I'm here for the gameplay and not the visuals, but if you want graphics...probably not gonna cut it. There are complete crashes once every hour or two, and occasionally gamebreaking visual errors such as station good labels not loading in.

I'm getting a 1060 3GB because I've been meaning to upgrade anyway, now that the cyber monday markup is over.

Man I would spend the extra 100 and get at least a 1070. Your going to be having issues within a year with a 1060 with newer stuff coming. One of the most important things with a gaming PC is the Gaming Video card.

I wouldn't put anything less than a 1080 in todays gaming world. But thats me.

I always ask myself is it cheaper for me to buy a card that will last 2 years? Or 6 months.

Right now cards are through the roof b/c of the stupid bitcoin crap. Wait for the prices to settle. You will be paying original MSRP for a 2 to 3yr old card at this point. That should not be the case.

I have that card and Im getting a new card to run settings to high.

The GTX670 runs on super low settings if your ok with that.

Is everyone using old cards to play new games?

I'm running the game on a GTX 680. I have to restart every so often, due to text missing and textures not loading, but the game is playable... I have already 20+ hours in game :)

I have a bit over minimum settings and game still has problems. Best solution is to go to lowest setting posible and also reduce draw distance to like 10-12.

So Op best to get a new pc if you wana run with with no problems.

This is my trash:

I am running on a GTX 660, just barely squeaking by. My CPU is 2 Xeon 5150 processors.
After a while the radar bugs out on me but a restart solves the problem.
It is playable and I'm enjoying it. I'll enjoy it more after I buy a new PC.
