Where can i buy level 40+ gear?

Where's a good place to buy level40 gear because the MSQ is currently too low-levelled and only drops lvl 30 gear and i dungeons only drop lvl27-31 gear while im level 43.

Any of the vendors in the main cities will sell gear up to 50

Main cities as above, Whitebrim Front in the Coerthas Central Highlands, Northern Thanalan, Mor Dhona.

Don't forget about the optional dungeons too.

There is also the option of crafting gear as opposed to buying it, but this is a more drawn out process, as it requires levelling your DoH (and maybe DoL to save gil) classes. Or if you're in an FC, ask if someone in your FC is willing to craft some for you, as high quality gear offers higher stats than gear bought from a vendor.

Another option is to use the market boards located in each city state and the housing districts.

Joining an FC is the most reliable way to gear up. An FC of any size will contain loads of crafters, probably more than happy to help you out.

Generally speaking in my FC, if you provide a crafter with the requisite materials, they'll craft whatever you like. If it's low level enough gear we might not even bother asking for that.

You can also simply buy from a vendor, but picking up the materials for a crafter is cheaper, and nets you high quality gear (better stats).
