Dungeon Siege 2

Dungeon Siege 2

Runs, but no mouse cursor.
The first time I ran this, the cursor showed up but the resolution was utter garbage. So I did what I did for Dungeon Seige and used the launch settings to set the resolution higher. Except it didn't work at all and no the cursor isn't even registering on the title menu. I've deleted and re-installed it several times now to no avail. I've turned on combatibility along with disabling DPI scaling to no effect. What is going on with this? By the way I'm running Win 8.

Here's what works for my laptop. Not sure if it has to do with the two video cards. Right click on game in library and go to properties. Go to browse local files. Open Dungeon Siege Video Conf. Set to highest resolution and pick the video card. Then run the Dungeon Siege.exe FROM THAT FOLDER. DON'T hit play in Steam. That works for me. Unfortunately, the Video Conf. doesn't give the 1080P resolution option. Still trying to figure that out.

OK. So I fully figured this one out at least for my laptop. Definately has issues with the Nvidia card. So first from the local folder. Pull a shortcut of the .exe onto your desktop. Then follow the links instructions for the 1080p resolution. After applying that...right click on the shortcut again, go to run with graphics processor and use the integrated graphics. Works perfect for me.

That did it. Running that and the resolution launch settings makes it look decent on a HD monitor. Thanks.
