Mouse problem
I really want to play this game, but the awkward mouse control is hindering me. It seems that the vertical speed is considerably slower than the horizontal speed. I don't know what the reason behind this is, but it is super irritating. Any way to change or fix this?

Try to fiddle with sensitivity settings. Also, if you own a gamepad and are not terryfied of using it in a first person perspective game (you won't need extraordinary dexterity to play LoF) you might try it - the experience might be better for you.

I do not have a gamepad. Isn't there an option to make looking in every direction go with the same speed?

It simulates real physics. You can't make instantenous movements in real life. Apart from fiddling with sensitivities you won't be able to change much.

I'm sorry, but I honestly don't really care about the physics being realistic. I mean it's nice if done well, but this is rather obstructive. I played LoF before this new sensitivity was applied. It was a lot better than it is now. It's a shame you cannot turn it off, as now I won't get the same awesome experience as I had with the game earlier and I fear it may collect dust in my Steam library... Which really is a shame, since it's one of the best horror games I've played in a long while.

We're planning an update in the near future and we will be addressing such issues then. Hopefully the game won't gather dust in your virtual library.

I really hope so. Thanks for your consideration.

i had to set my sensitivity settings in my mouse software, its a shame they dont have a option to adjust this, doesnt feel right playing with the mouse with the default settings. I think i'll finish the game with my controller, dont normally like using my controller for 1st person games but i'll give it a go.

has this issue been addressed? I bought the game about 6 months ago, realized that the mouse had an acceleration I couldn't turn off, and it had a different movement ratio horizontal vs vertical.
I returned the game a day later.
Just wondering if it's been fixed yet.
