Undertale Crashing at Random Times
With really no rhyme or reason, my Undertale will crash. I'm lucky if I can make it to a save point before another crash occurs. I have disabled my steam overlay and verified the game cache integrity yet I constantly crash at random. So far, I love the game. I just wish I could play it for more than five minutes...

Btw, My specs are:

Operating System:Windows 10 Home 64-bit(10.0, Build, 10586)

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU J2900 @ 2.41GHz 2.41 GHz

4096 MB RAM

... Guessing those are awful but oh well...

Also, Intel(R) Graphics Chip Type: HD Graphics, internal, full display...
Perhaps the reason it is crashing is because I'm playing it in fullscreen but having it in windowed mode bothers me. Is this the problem and if so, is there any way to play without not being full screen?

Right click on Undertale, go into properties, opt into the one and only beta. That should stop the crashing.
Wow, thanks. didn't even know that was a thing. I'll try it out.
... And now when I try and open it, it says it's running but won't pop up.
And now I can't even change it back to the previous version ._.
Managed to change it back but crashing continues. Please help.
And now I can't open it again because it's back in beta for some reason. For the love of god, PLEASE HELP!

It's definatly not your specs, Undertale is very well optimised and should be able to run with low ram and a fairly inexpensive prosessor. Perhaps its your game its self. If you are not very far into the game yet, possibly reinstalling would help. If not, then you may have a better chance contacting steam support, or someone you know who is good with computers (i'm not awesome with computers, but I know what a good prosessor or ram card is when I see one). Hope this helped!
I think I might've fixed it by opting into a beta program that's password protected... Thanks for your help though! :steamhappy:
Nevermind, I guess it's time for steam support :/
