Deltarun mentioned in Undertale
Has anyone else replayed undertale after having finish Deltarun survey program and noticed the mention of deltarun in the waterfall area when purchasing iteams from Gerson, when he talks about the prophacy and the meaning of the emblem. He mentions an angel coming to help the monster community break out, before saying "The Angel" or "The Angel of Death", could just be me that missed this important converstation since i havent played undertale for a while since I've gotten a job and going to college now.

I noticed that too after playing Deltarune. I don't know if I just missed it on my initial playthrough or if it's a new addition to the game?

I know its the family crest, just curious about the conversation that Gerson said-
"The triangles symbolize the monsters below and winged circle above symbolizes perhaps the angel from the prophacy. The prophacy is the legend has it, an 'angel who has seen the surface will descend from above and bring them freedom. loss of hope has them calling the winged circle the "Angel of Death" and refering to it as well as a harbinger of destruction witin to 'free' them from the mortal realm"
In which I believe that the monsters instead of refering to the prophacy as an angel as begun refering to it as the angel of death in the mean that they have given up the hope of it saving them and instead killing them as a way of freeing them from the mortal realm?

Well Toby Fox has been having Deltarune in his mind before working on Undertale so yeah, there are a lot of easter eggs about deltarune in undertale.

But deltarune is just an AU (alternate universe) and the only suspected monsters that might be the same in both games are Sans and Gaster (sans talks at one point in his fight about giving up to go back and he's not talking about the surface because the next dialogue with him is "and going to the surface doesn't appeal to me either" so basically he's probably in both deltarune and undertale. And there's a lot more proof about it. About gaster... deltarune is thought of being the world gaster has been sent to)

Makes sense, just wondering since its been a year since i last played and just recently starting to get back to playing, that and Im a newbie when it comes to games in general. So getting the hang of things just made me think more about what it meant. Guess i just took the philosopical way of looking at things. Got to admit though, Toby Fox is a genious for creating games undertale and deltarun survey program, both intriguing and exciting to play.
The prophecy Gerson talks about plays out in Undertale, it's not the same prophecy that's in Deltarune. The delta rune emblem itself exists in both games, but this is not a direct reference to the game "Deltarune". The "Angel" is a character you'll meet if you complete the pacifist route.

There are two actual references to Deltarune associated with a fun value where you meet a clam girl in Waterfall. She talks about a character named Suzy. The same fun value also changes the picture in Sans's secret workshop to a drawing with three people with the words "Don't Forget" written on it.

Toby Fox: Undertale and deltarune are completely different universes, they arent related and dont affect each other at all:

Fandom: Hey, look at this totally legit connection/reference i found!
